With branding materials being our passion, we have been on many events where backdrops where used. You would not guess how many times; a booth was looking rushed and cheap because it had horrible event backdrops. We are talking about backdrops that have folds and wrinkles in them, or the kind that are printed too big or with excess printed material that hangs out onto the ground. Or the kind that uses zip ties. We could go on, but you probably get the idea.
We believe that this is bad design. And with bad design, you lose trust and make your booth look cheap. When you aim to make an impact at events and differentiate from the norm, your visuals need to be spectacular. Our go-to material for event backdrops is tension fabric and here is why.
Frameless wall-like appearance
The 2 most common tension fabric styles are SEG and pillowcase. SEG stands for Silicone Edge Graphic. It is a high-resolution, dye sublimated fabric graphic finished with a thin silicone strip which is inserted into our aluminum frames. A “pillowcase” frame style means that the fabric dressed the aluminum frame from top to bottom without the frame even be seen. Silicone edge graphics and pillowcase fabrics both have a virtually frameless look.
Fit like a glove
A fabric backdrop made with the dye-sublimation technique comes with its own aluminum frame. The tension fabric dresses the frame like a glove, and you will get a backdrop with perfect tension throughout the display. Practically, this means no waves or sagging in the fabric.
No visible seams
When printing on fabric, your graphic can be in one piece without seams. We use backdrops in various shapes and sizes so we can cover every dimension you need, and you won’t have to worry about seams ever again.
Graphics go all the way down to the floor
Our tension fabric frames can get the graphic all the way down to the ground. No seams, no wrinkles and no more disrupted graphics. This makes for better design.
No glare with the fabric
When fabric is used, you get no glare. Fabric absorbs the camera flash rather than reflecting it and gives a higher-end impression, especially when viewed up close. Vinyl backdrops have more of a sheen and can create glare which makes for bad photography.
Backlit option
All our event backdrops have the option to be backlit. Backlit fabric takes your branding to the next level and is sure to help make an impact. We use led lighting to make sure our backdrops will be just perfect.
Lightweight
Compared to rigid board graphics, fabric is lightweight and can be rolled or folded for easy shipping. Furthermore, our textile backdrops have a lightweight aluminum frame that comes in Lego-like pieces making the whole backdrop really easy to setup and transfer.
Eco-friendly fabric
Our tension fabrics are printed using the dye sublimation technique. This technique is brilliant because it creates absolutely zero waste. The material saturates the ink, so there are no ink leaks.
