Resistance
There are literally no meteorological limits for geodesic structures. Our igloo geodesic dome are used for an ice statue exhibition every winter in mountains. They perform well in wind storms with speeds up to 140 km/h along with lots of snow. Even higher resistance is possible with using higher gauge and frequency of stainless steel.

Covering
There are three available options for covering this robust stainless steel dome: PVC – PVC coated FR fabric, OPQ – PVC coated FR fabric or TRA – PVC transparent FR film.
1) PVC – PVC translucent coated FR fabric, weight 670 g
Our domes are normally delivered with translucent PVC cover in white color, but other color options are possible too. Printing is done by full color digital printing. We can print 100 % of the igloo surface. Material is fire retardant and 100% waterproof.
2) OPQ – PVC opaque coated FR fabric, weight 800 g
Our opaque PVC is normally delivered in white color. The advantage of opaque material is creating barrier for sun beams to go through the cover, limiting the thermal radiation to come through and allowing to use the inner space of the dome for cinema projection or other shows. Printing is done by full color digital printing. We can print 100 % of the igloo surface. Material is fire retardant and 100 % waterproof.
3) TRA – PVC transparent FR film, 500 mic
Transparent PVC is specially used for igloo windows to deliver sun light inside. Bay view window is one of the option we recommend to make your igloo attractive.
Fabric can be modified as you wish. With doors, windows, bay windows or digital printing. We don´t have limits on customizing your geodesic dome. We are able to provide a solution for heating, air conditioning, flooring, internal lighting.
